Maridatge:  Canalons amb múrgules a la crema, Bacallà a la llauna, Pollastre rostit amb prunes i pinyons, Coca de recapte,….

A fresh Priorat

Aroma: Intense aromas of fruits strawberry, cherry, raspberry and black cherries with hints of blue flowers, cedar and spices.

Taste : Smooth and velvety on the palate, it remains harmonious to the finish. Very fresh.

Pairing: Loidana is a a  versatile and cheerful  wine which makes  it perfect for any occasion. It marries particularly well with poultry and pasta dishes. Cannelloni , codfish, roast chicken with plums and pine nuts.






Marco Abella : celler i vinyes situades a Porrera. 

Porrera és un petit municipi del Priorat on la família Marco ja estava establerta el segle XIV, segons consta en el primer cens català i europeu.
Des de fa segles, la principal activitat de la regió és el cultiu de les vinyes.
La situació privilegiada de Porrera és determinant en els nostres vins.

Els principals trets diferencials són  EL SÓL, L’ALÇADA i l’INFLUÈNCIA DEL MEDITERRANI.

L’alçada a Porrera és superior a la mitjana de la DOQ Priorat i les nostres vinyes són les més altes de Porrera entre els 450 i 710 metres sobre el nivell del mar. Aixó ens aporta frescor, intensitat aromàtica i capacitat d’envelliment als nostres vins degut a una verema molt més llarga i pausada permetent el raïm creixer i formar-se amb tranquilitat.

Marco Abella :  cellar and vineyards located in Porrera

Porrera is a small town in the Priorat where the Marco family was already established in the fourteenth century, according to the first Catalan and European census. For centuries, the main activity in the region has been the cultivation of vineyards. The privileged situation of Porrera is decisive in our wines.

The main distinguishing features are THE SOIL, THE HEIGHT and the INFLUENCE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN.

The average elevation of the Porrera mountains is the higher of the DOQ Priorat.  Marco Abella plots are situated in six different summits of six different mountains in Porrera. For this reason, the average elevation of Marco Abella vineyards is the highest of the whole

Priorat region (between 500 and 700 metres above the sea level). They are also the closest vineyards to the sea. The coolest and highest elevation of our plots contributes to optimal phenolic ripeness and helps to preserve flavors and acidity. Our wines are dense, complex, mineral as the best Priorat wines but the high elevation of our plots give them a special characteristic: freshness and finesse.
